Q&A with Tyler Pasher, Houston Dynamo Forward
Tyler Pasher, a former Indy Eleven player, is now with the MLS’s Houston Dynamo as he continues to build his successful soccer career. During the off seasons, Tyler spent some time with us at Sogility, so we were fortunate to have the opportunity to spend some time with him and ask some questions.
What do you prioritize for yourself as valuable components to your success as a player?
Conquering the mental side of my game and belief in my abilities
What does training alone or in small groups do for your psyche as a player and a person?
Helps prepare me for game situations and gives me the ability to work on new components to help elevate my game
How does Sogility make your training desires feasible and enjoyable?
The ability to get hundreds if not thousands of touches in such a short period of time helps to sharpen up my feet and gives the technical side of my game a huge boost.
What would you share with a young soccer player about the value of focusing on individual technical and physical components of their game?
In the game, your technical ability is everything, so of course, being the best you can be at this part of your game is vital. Most importantly, Remember to have fun and enjoy yourself while playing, and never hide your creative side. Having fun and expressing ourselves is why we all started playing soccer in the first place!
