Job Description

The Director of Athlete Development at Sogility is responsible for designing and delivering programming that empowers athletes to reach their full potential. This role focuses on motivation, education, and guidance in areas such as nutrition, conditioning, speed, resistance training, mobility, and recovery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement speed, strength, and conditioning programs for athletes participating in Athlete Development (AD) and Advanced AD sessions.
  • Collaborate with players, partner coaches, sports medicine providers, and other staff to support athlete success.
  • Track athlete attendance and progress using the Sogility Growth Indicator system.
  • Conduct annual needs analysis for facility improvements and program optimization.
  • Set and enforce high standards for athlete conduct, reflecting Sogility’s brand and values.
  • Maintain a personal health and fitness lifestyle aligned with company expectations.
  • Complete required training and educational courses as assigned.
  • Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Human Performance (required).
  • Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Expertise in strength training techniques and analysis.
  • Strong motivational and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to positively interact with athletes, colleagues, and the public.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience coaching speed, strength, and conditioning at the private, high school, collegiate, or professional level (preferred).

Employment Details

This is a full-time, salaried position. The Director of Athlete Development is expected to bring the experience, expertise, and knowledge necessary to fulfill these responsibilities effectively.

Full-Time Trainer - Westfield, IN; St. Louis, MO; and Medina, OH.

Full-Time General Trainer

Location: Sogility Facility

Hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week


About the Role

As a General Trainer at Sogility, you’ll play a key role in developing players by leading 30-minute training sessions that maximize skill development, engagement, and enjoyment. You’ll be responsible for mastering Sogility’s cutting-edge training technology, delivering structured, high-quality sessions, and building strong relationships with players to encourage continued growth and participation.


This position requires active coaching and instruction throughout every session, ensuring players stay engaged, challenged, and supported. Trainers are expected to remain professional, focused, and hands-on, fostering an environment where athletes can thrive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead dynamic, small-group training sessions that align with Sogility’s curriculum.
  • Engage and instruct players actively throughout each session, ensuring focused, high-energy coaching.
  • Master and utilize Sogility’s training technology to enhance player development.
  • Promote Sogility’s programs and training opportunities to encourage continued participation.
  • Monitor and assess player progress, reporting any technical or player-related issues to the General Manager.
  • Support Sogility’s digital presence by engaging with and sharing social media content.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming training environment for all players.
  • Maintain a professional and energetic attitude, ensuring positive interactions with players, parents, and fellow staff.

Building strong relationships with players and encouraging participation in additional training opportunities is essential to fostering long-term growth and success.

Guest Experience Coordinator - St. Louis

As a Guest Experience Coordinator at Sogility St. Louis, your role is to create a welcoming and engaging environment for guests, provide top-tier hospitality, and promote Sogility memberships. You will be responsible for managing beverage service, assisting with concessions, and ensuring visitors have an outstanding experience at our facility.


This position blends customer service, hospitality, and sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, creating a fun and professional atmosphere, and introducing guests to Sogility’s innovative soccer training programs.


Key Responsibilities:

Deliver an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and engaged.

  • Promote and sell memberships, educating guests on Sogility’s training programs and benefits.
  • Manage beverage service (beer, wine, and non-mixed drinks) responsibly and professionally.
  • Oversee concessions and light food service, ensuring a clean and efficient operation.
  • Support facility events, team rentals, and community activations by enhancing the fan experience.
  • Engage with guests on-site and through social media, promoting programs and special events.

Basic Experience & Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Basic bartending experience preferred (no mixed drinks required)
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or beverage service
  • Ability to handle transactions and operate a POS system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable discussing memberships and training programs with guests
  • Passion for soccer and community engagement (a plus, but not required)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long periods. 
  • Must be able to lift equipment or supplies weighing 40+ pounds.
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
