SOGILITY TRAPPED PLAYER PROGRAM
What is a Trapped Player?
A “Trapped Player” is any eighth grader who is a member of a U15 team, which typically consists of 9th graders. The player is called a “trapped” player because U15 club teams do not have a fall season, due to the fact that most players on a U15 team play high school soccer their freshman year.
At Sogility, we have a plan for your “trapped players” so they don’t miss opportunities to continue their personal development. Our program is available to club members from all local clubs. We know that clubs offer trainings and matches for these players. Our goal is to provide additional supplemental training opportunities.
Players will attend training at Sogility Westfield from 5:30-7:00 PM on their clubs day of the week. Players will have 30 mins of Athlete Development provided by the Sogility Sports Performance Director (core strength, explosive movements, and speed/agility drills), 30 mins of Technology Driven Technical Training provided by Sogility Staff (Techtouch, TSZ, Circuit Training), and 30 mins of small sided/group training and 5v5 or 7v7 play.
