Advanced Group Training – 6:00-7:00 PM

Advanced Invite Only Group Training – 7:00-8:00 PM

We are here to help you spend your time improving your skills and working on your craft. Join us for a 60-minute goalkeeper training session led by a Sogility Goalkeeper Trainer. This program offers beginners, intermediate, junior advanced, advanced, and advanced invite sessions that combine the technical, tactical, and physical sides of the position into training within a small group setting.

Cost: $50.00/session OR Six (6) Sessions for $255

Overview of Different Groups:

Beginners Group – players ages 7-10, a perfect start for players with an interest in goalkeeping. We will introduce the fundamentals for the goalkeeper position through fun and interactive activities! 

Intermediate Group – players 10-14, for players that are beyond basics but still developing in their skills. 

Junior Advanced Group – mainly top level club players ages 11-14 that have graduated the intermediate level. 

Advanced Group – Classes are usually high level middle school or high school aged players that have progressed from the junior advanced level. 

Advanced Invite Only Group – Elite Level players High School to College Aged. Must be invited to the group to attend. Sogility Goalkeeper Trainers will determine which players are ready to train within this group throughout the year.

Info on Goalkeeping Staff:

Yannick Oettl is a German footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Indy Eleven in the USL Championship. In 2017 he moved to the US and studied at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Oettl made his professional debut for SpVgg Unterhaching in 2015. Oettl signed with FC Augsburg on 26 June 2015. Then in 2021, Oetell appeared for USL League Two side Ocean City Nor’easters and signed with USL League One club New England Revolution II. On 12 May 2022, Oettl joined Hartford Athletic on loan for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Matthew Spaulding comes to us with over 15 years of soccer coaching experience including head coaching a local high school and goalkeeper training from the developmental club level to NCAA Division II Final Four Qualifiers. From the Indianapolis area, Matt played goal keeper at Perry Meridian High School and UIndy. His passion is helping young athletes reach their full potential, both on and off the field, through the life skills learned by hard work and consistent effort.

Paul Wessling was born and raised in Zaandam, Netherlands. He played goalkeeper at a local soccer club through U15 making the regional select team at U14 and U15 and came in 3rd at the National Championship at U14. Paul then moved to the AFC Ajax and became National Champion. He played for Ajax through U19. Paul next joined Xavier University as the starting goalkeeper and was a 2-year co-captain. While in graduate school, Paul coached the goalkeepers at Case Western Reserve University and Hathaway Brown High School in Cleveland. He started his HFC goalkeeper coaching career in 2013. He is also the goalkeeper coach at Cathedral High School. Paul holds a USC Goalkeeping Diplomas – Level I, II and III and RMA Technical Diplomas – Levels 100-200.

James Pilkington was born & raised in Liverpool, England. He played in the Everton, Blackpool, Exeter & Liverpool Academies. He also played DI soccer at IUPUI before transferring to the UK to play semi-pro in England. James also trained under Jon Busch during his tenure as Sogility’s Director of Goalkeeping. He also coached at USAI before joining Sogility. He is currently playing Semi-Pro for the Indy Gladiators.

Brendan Weiger is a recent graduate of Marian University and played goalkeeper there for all 4 years. He has experience coaching for the Indiana Fire Academy and Butler Summer Camps.

Declan Finnegan is currently a goalkeeper at IUPUI.
